An Era of the Greatest of All Time

We are living in a time period of greatness, Bitcoin is the secret to make it a 'Golden Age.'

There has never been a time in the history of sports that so many of the greatest of all time, or GOATS, of their respective sports have coexisted simultaneously.

Since the turn of the century we have witnessed:

LeBron James in basketball,

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in football,

Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo in soccer,

Lewis Hamilton in Formula 1,

Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Serena Williams in tennis,

Tiger Woods in golf,

Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky in swimming,

Usain Bolt in sprinting,

Simone Biles in gymnastics,

Jon Jones in mixed martial arts,

Greatness everywhere you look.

Even crazier is many of these sports have budding superstars who are already pushing their way into the Goat conversation.

Patrick Mahomes in football, Carlos Alcaraz in tennis, Max Verstappen in Formula 1, Kylian Mbappé in soccer, and Scottie Scheffler in golf.

Human performance is constantly being elevated again and again in the world of sports. What was once impossible is the new norm for performance.

Sports have never been more competitive in this way. An “average” player in today’s NFL or NBA would undoubtedly be a Hall of Famer in their respective league 50 years ago.

I don’t find it a coincidence that also since the turn of the century, the technology we use daily has exponentially improved.

From the first iterations of the internet to what we have now.

From flip phones to the pocket-sized supercomputers we have in our pockets called smartphones.

Even today, we are witnessing almost on a continuous basis the exponential growth of artificial intelligence and its capabilities. On Thursday, Elon Musk and Tesla revealed numerous advancements in these fields such as the Cybercab, Robovan, and the robot, Optimus. All these devices look to propel the world of automation and AI further.

We have never before had as much ability due to the impact of technology available to us in such an accessible way. I expect this trend to rapidly continue.

With a world maximizing human performance in athletics and constantly improving the technology available, it makes sense that the best form of money has also emerged in this period.

Bitcoin is the scarcest asset in the world with a finite supply of 21 million coins. This is completely opposite the fiat currencies that currently rule the world’s monetary policies can be printed to infinity.

Bitcoin is divisible into smaller quantities with each Bitcoin being made up of 100 million ‘Satoshis.’ The analogy here is dollars to cents. This divisibility is not easily accessible with something like gold.

Bitcoin can be moved around the world securely, cheaply, and in seconds. Moving gold bars around the world is a security risk, expensive, and time-intensive.

In an ever-increasingly digital world, all of these characteristics come together to make Bitcoin not only the most accessible form of currency to everyone but also the most sound form of currency.

In a world where there is currently so much greatness and innovation, it only makes sense that a return to a sound form of currency will cement this time in history as another golden age for humanity.
