A Year on the Arc

So much has happened in 2024 for Bitcoin, this is a year in review for what we covered on The Arc

As 2024 comes to a close, so does the first year of The Arc. I have greatly enjoyed writing about Bitcoin every week of the year and appreciate all of the loyal supporters, new people I have connected with, and feedback I have received.

Bitcoin is a topic that when you think you have a firm grasp of it, you suddenly find yourself diving deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole continually unlocking more. I believe I could write about Bitcoin every single day and never explore all the theories, possibilities, laws, or ideologies that the hardest asset in the world presents to humanity.

To close the year out I wanted to group and revisit the topics I wrote about over the course of the year so if any readers are interested, they can reread, or pass along to a friend.

The Bitcoin Movement

Grouping all of my posts and going through them all again was very enjoyable to me. As I revisited all of the material I covered I also reflected on what has happened for Bitcoin over the course of the year.

We saw Wall Street enter the fold in January and go on to have record-breaking success at the ETF level. We saw the next Halving occur in Bitcoin’s history in April. We saw Presidential Candidates, and the next President of the United States, speak at The Bitcoin Conference in July. We have seen pension funds, corporations, states, and nations research, discuss, and propose legislation to adopt Bitcoin. We are now closing 2024 with murmurs about the United States adopting a Bitcoin Strategic Reserve on Day one of the next administration, Russia admitting they are using Bitcoin for international transfers, and China clarifying their crypto ownership laws. All of these monumental events and countless others have occurred as Bitcoin has climbed far beyond previous all-time highs and pushed above $100,000 for the first time ever.

The Bitcoin movement is one that is gradual and then sudden. I believe now more than ever that the days of being in the “gradual” phase are waning and the days of the “sudden” will be upon us before we know it. 2024 is done, and 2025 is upon us. Who’s telling what can and will happen next?

Bitcoin is here to stay.

The Adoption Arc doesn’t lie and the Ark is accepting new passengers.

Don’t get left behind.
